Shelf — Move search results to a collection

What it does

Rich capture — Automatic title, description, OG image, favicon, author, and publication date. Short links expand before saving.
Find anything — Fuzzy weighted search across metadata plus full-text search across saved HTML copies, with saved queries.
Own your archive — Save pages as raw HTML, organize with collections and tags, export to CSV, import from Shelf or Raindrop.

App-specific activity: When you save a bookmark, Shelf requests that URL to retrieve its page, metadata, and saved copy.

Downloads

Choose your computer below to download the installer directly. Most Windows and Linux PCs use Intel / AMD. For Macs, check Apple menu → About This Mac: an Apple M-series chip means Apple silicon; an Intel processor means Intel.

Security warning: macOS and Windows may show an install prompt.

This app is not signed with a developer certificate. macOS may show an unidentified-developer or “damaged” alert; Windows may show SmartScreen. These prompts don’t establish whether the app is safe.
A “damaged” alert can be a false positive for an intact build, but may also mean the download is corrupt or altered. Download a fresh copy using the links above. If macOS still blocks the app and you trust the download, you can remove its quarantine flag using Terminal:
1. Drag the app into your Applications folder first.
2. Press Command + Space to open Spotlight, type “Terminal”, then press Return.
3. Copy and paste xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine into Terminal, then press the Space bar once. Don’t press Return yet.
4. Open Finder → Applications and drag this app into the Terminal window. This adds the app’s exact file path to the command.
5. Press Return to run the command, then open the app from Applications.
This removes the downloaded-app restriction for this app; it does not repair a corrupt download.

First-launch tips

macOS: drag the app into Applications, then try opening it. For an unidentified developer prompt, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, if offered. If macOS says the app is damaged, download a fresh copy using the links above. If the warning persists, follow the Terminal steps in the security warning above.
Windows: if SmartScreen prompts, choose More info, then Run anyway.
Linux: AppImage is portable — mark it executable and run it.
