SessionsBox — All features
Find, revisit, resume, and understand your coding-agent sessions in one local desktop library.
Free and open-source. View source on GitHub.
Agent library & sync
- Nine agent families — Import local history from Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, Pi, Command Code, Muse, Hermes Agent, Antigravity, and Cline.
- Local history import — Read existing agent history into your library without uploading transcripts or modifying the original source files.
- Incremental or full sync — Import changed sessions or run a full rescan, for all agents or one chosen agent.
- Optional startup sync — Choose whether to sync automatically when the app starts.
- Stoppable sync — Stop an import while retaining completed work, then continue later.
- Browse during sync — Keep browsing saved sessions while new history is being imported.
Finding & organizing sessions
- History search — Search your saved session library rather than digging through individual history files.
- Combined filters — Narrow sessions by agent, workspace, date, model, branch, tool, stars, and tags.
- Session sorting — Sort by most recent, oldest, longest, or most messages.
- Stars and tags — Star useful sessions, add custom tags, and keep those annotations through rescans.
Transcripts & tool activity
- Conversation reader — Read user messages, assistant responses, tool calls and results, and session events in one transcript.
- Entry filters — Show all entries or focus on user messages, assistant responses, tools, or events.
- Long-session navigation — Move through transcript pages or jump directly to a page.
- Collapsible messages — Collapse lengthy entries and expand them when needed.
- Copy messages — Copy an individual entry as Markdown.
Continuing sessions
- Native agent resume — Continue a supported session in its agent's CLI from the original workspace.
- Command preview — Review the resume command, working directory, and warnings before launching.
- Terminal choice — Select an installed terminal and reuse that choice for future sessions.
- Copy resume command — Copy the command for use in your own terminal.
Token usage & estimated costs
- Usage breakdowns — Compare tokens and estimated costs by model, agent family, workspace, and session.
- Cache efficiency — Inspect cache usage alongside input and output tokens.
- Trends and outlook — Explore activity and usage trends, week-over-week comparisons, and a spend outlook.
- Pricing controls — Refresh model pricing, review cached rates, and set your own model price overrides.
- Report filters — Filter analytics by date, agent, workspace, and model, and open sessions behind report results.
Tool reliability & activity reports
- Tool latency — Inspect latency distributions and the slowest recorded tool calls.
- Failure patterns — Review tool error rates and repeated failing commands.
- Session activity — Explore an activity heatmap, session-duration and turn-depth distributions, user/assistant ratios, and turns per project.
Transcript exports
- Markdown and JSON — Export the selected session, all filtered matches, or the entire library.
- Complete transcripts — Include tool activity, stars, and tags across all transcript pages.
- Optional session statistics — Include tokens, estimated costs, duration, turns, and tool counts.
- Export progress — Follow export stages and cancel reading, formatting, or saving.
Backups & saved-data management
- Full or filtered backups — Save a restorable backup of the whole library or selected sessions, including annotations and related activity.
- Backup import review — Preview incoming sessions and choose to add only new sessions or replace matching ones.
- Pricing override import — Choose whether to import saved pricing overrides alongside sessions.
- Filtered cleanup — Preview matching saved data before deletion, or reset the library after explicit confirmation. Original agent histories remain available.
- Light and dark themes — Choose the appearance that suits your workspace.
Good to know
- Token costs are estimates based on recorded or estimated usage and model rates; they are not provider bills.
- Resuming requires the original session and its agent to be available. Older Cline editor tasks must be resumed through Cline History in their original editor.
