The apps

GoodApps provides free and open-source desktop software ("the Apps"): Serverbox, Shelf, SnippetBox, ParquetPeek, SessionsBox, and Finance Tracker.

License

Each App is provided under the open-source license published in its source repository, linked from its dedicated page. That license governs use, modification, and redistribution of the App. Third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Apps to violate law or interfere with others' systems. Serverbox and similar remote-access tools must only be used against servers you are authorized to manage.

Your data and results

You control your local data and should keep independent backups. Financial and tax reports are informational, not professional advice. Forecasts and session costs are estimates based on available data and settings; session costs are not provider bills. Third-party services and agent tools have their own terms. See our privacy policy for data handling.

No warranty

To the extent permitted by law, the Apps are provided "as is" without warranty. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoodApps is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Apps.

Updates and changes

We may update the Apps and these terms. Changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them, subject to applicable law.
